One Day Introduction to Cartonnage Workshop - Hanmer Springs Saturday 10th June 2023

"An Introduction to Cartonnage - the French art of box-making & fabric covered boxes".

Where? My House, Hanmer Springs!

What's it all about? During the 1 day workshop you will construct and decorate a small & simple box with a hinged lid from supplied pre-cut pieces / kit, which will take 5-6 hours to make. All you need to bring is your fabric. See photos below.

What experience do I need? If you're a beginner crafter or a junior crafter, then the 1 day course is just made for you! Come and lose yourself for a few hours and take a well earned break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

Everything is included in the course fee except your fabric. Details of what you need will be emailed to you as soon as you book your place. 

We require a minimum of 10 participants for this workshop for it to go ahead to go ahead - places are limited so book your place now! We can't wait to see you and to see the wonderful boxes that we know will be created during the day.
